HappyNest is an association dedicated to the social inclusion of people with severe mental health conditions in France. It develops inclusive housing solutions, including shared housing in ordinary neighbourhoods, to facilitate access to quality housing, which is a starting point for social inclusion and citizenship.
These shared housing arrangements enable residents to develop their social lives and shared projects together while receiving daily support to help them reconnect with an active social life and strengthen their independence. HappyNest has also created Sahanest.fr, a platform that lists and describes existing inclusive housing solutions in France and facilitates applications for them.
